Do you need a reliable horse transporter you can trust to deliver your horse in the best possible condition? Our service is one that you can trust. Our standards dictate that horses are always carried safely and ethically, with our horse transport vehicles capable of carrying anything from 1 up to 8 horses. We also have the option to tow our Cheval Liberte 4 Horse trailer behind any of our vehicles to increase maximum capacity or to transport equipment.

 

Horse transportation can be arranged to and from anywhere in the United Kingdom. From local shows to moving yards, we can arrange horse transport for all possible needs.

On long journeys, stabling can be arranged at any point during transit to allow horses to rest. While horses are stabled for overnight stops, our team will look after their every need and they will remain in our care at all times.

Stabling can also be arranged pre or post travelling at our base in Surrey. We have a purpose-built lairage facility for transiting horses.

VGHT hold all the necessary licenses and insurances for horse transportation in the UK.

With the introduction of the Ultra Low Emission Zone around London, horse transportation in and out of London has become expensive with many firms opting to add the daily charge to their rates.

At VGHT we have several longstanding, loyal London customers so we took the decision to upgrade our fleet to meet ULEZ standards in order to continue meeting their needs.

We will listen to you, take time to set the scene for success and factor in extra time for your young horse to work out what is required. We believe, and regularly prove, that good travel experiences in the early days are an invaluable investment in your horse’s future.

• Providing reassurance, practical help and assistance when you have broken down. We are preferred suppliers of recovery horse transport for many of the UK horsebox breakdown services, covering a vast area of the south of England. We are ideally placed to reach breakdowns on the M23, M25 and various popular local show venues and regularly rescue stranded horse owners in often challenging situations, transporting them safely home to all areas of the UK.
